Tangle Guard Banding Material

Tanglefoot Tangle Guard Tree Banding Material is a waterproof paper banding material that wraps around trunks of trees or shrubs. When used with Tree Tanglefoot Insect Barrier it provides a perfect solution for protecting your valuable trees. Tanglefoot Tangle Guard Tree Banding Material can also be used to prevent sunscald or damage from rodents, bark bruising or frost damage.

Directions

Wrap banding around tree trunk, out of reach of children. Wind wrap tightly around trunk to prevent insects from crawling under the wrap. On rough bark trees, plug the gaps under the band with cotton batting, foam or similar material. Secure wrap by tucking end into the last overlap row, by securing with tape, or by using a small fastener such as a thumb tack or small nail. Apply Tree Tanglefoot to banding. Remove banding at the end of the season.
