Sow spring or fall in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1/4 inch soil.

Self-sows freely and is heat & drought tolerant, you can't beat this plant for being hardy.

These are easy to grow plants and make wonderful fresh cut flowers or dried flowers the colors hold strong.

To dry: Cut mature flowers, remove foliage and hand downward in a shady dry area. It will take about 2 weeks to air dry.
