Sow spring or fall in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1/4 inch soil.

Self-sows freely. You can prolong the bloom by dead heading. You won't want to do this to all your plants or you won't have any seeds for self-sowing. You need to divide the clump every 2-3 years for the best results. These are easy to grow plants and make wonderful cut flowers along with all of the other great things about this plant.
