Sow seeds directly in the garden in full sun 1/16 in deep in ordinary well-drained soil. Thin plants to 12 in. apart when they are 2 in. tall.

Can be started indoors near a sunny window 6 weeks before transplanting to the garden.

Also you can just plain grow this indoors if you would like to give that a try.

This is a very hardy easy to grow plant with lovely purple blooms that just go on and on. You can make tea, use it in fresh salads or make your own perfume or scented oils.
