Native to Europe and Mediterranean region, and these are the kind you sometimes see growing in a lawn. Very sweet tiny white petals with yellow centers, and they have a nice smell. They bloom spring through early summer.

Plant in rich soil with light shade and regular watering. Sow seed in spring or fall cover with 1/4 in. of fine soil. This plant needs good soil, lots of moisture, light shade in hot climates- full sun on the coast.
