For earlier bloom, start indoors in flats about 6-8 weeks before last frost. Cover with 1/8" soil or you can start in flats in late summer-fall. Pre-chill seed 7-10 days to hasten germination. If planted in the fall, mulch to protect young plants through winter.

Plants will self-sow freely.
