Blazing Star *Perennial Stiff, erect spikes are composed of tiny, fuzzy, purple blossoms. Very easy to grow. After all danger of frost, sow in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1/8 inch soil. You can start indoors in flats about 6-8 weeks before last frost. Cover with 1/8 inch soil. When plants are 2 inches high, thin or transplant. Very showy planted in groups of at least 10. Plant in spring or fall for bloom the following summer. This plant will produce bulbs so you can divide after 2-3 years and have this wonderful plant everywhere you need some great color.
